Baque. The company /
CAFES BAQUE, during its long history as a coffee importer and roaster, has always strived for the highest quality, taking special care to select the best raw material, as well as carefully carry out the roasting, grinding and packaging of the coffee in order to ensure that consumers get the best quality cup of coffee coffee possible.
CAFES BAQUE is a young, local, family-run company with a long tradition in the Basque Country and surrounding areas.
Since the beginning, the high quality of our coffee -the result of carefully-selected coffee sources and beans- and an excellent delivery service, are the reasons why CAFES BAQUE remains the undisputed leader in the coffee market in the northern region today.
Honesty, transparency, service, a desire for continuous improvement, promoting sports and serving the community are some of the values on which CAFES BAQUE´s business philosophy is based. Our mission is to continue to bring customers in the food and hospitality sector the best coffee on the market.
Quality is derived from various elements that comprise A COFFEE COMPANY'S KNOW-HOW:
• Raw material
• Roasting process
• Packaging process
• Grinding process
These four factors that jointly determine the quality of a cup of coffee are unique to the company, i.e. the raw material bought in the stock market and the grinding procedure that follows, and undoubtedly have a significant effect on the quality of a cup of coffee. However, there are other factors that are beyond our direct control. These include
• Grinding the bean
• Coffee machine used
• Skill in elaboration
With our choice of raw material, we guarantee that the quality of our coffees is the same as the quality offered by the places the best coffee in the world comes from: Colombia, Brazil, Nicaragua, Honduras, Kenya, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Java, etc. That is to say Brazilian coffee, Nicaraguan coffee, Honduran coffeecoffee, etc.o: Colombias, Brasiles, Nicaraguas, Honduras, Kenyas, Costa Ricas, Guatemalas, Javas, etc.
Our selection of the best green coffee beans is assured by our quality control. The green beans are tasted to determine the quality of the beans that have been purchased. This tasting is what determines whether the coffee brought from the source country meets our quality criteria. Once our quality control department gives the go ahead after the tasting, the beans are then roasted.
CAFES BAQUE, unlike other coffee roasters, always roasts according to where the coffee comes from. But what does this add to a cup of coffee?
Raw coffees can vary. If we want to obtain homogeneous and uniform roastings we must roast each coffee separately. That is, roast first and then blend. This makes the process more expensive but it means we are able to guarantee constant quality, which other roasters cannot do: CAFES BAQUE always tastes the same and it's always good. We know what our customers' like and we roast our coffee accordingly, ensuring consistency in every cup.
There's a secret to roasting. That is why we have a master roaster who knows every type of coffee bean perfectly, whatever its origin. Our taster, the Quality Control Department and the Production Department jointly decide the steps that need to be followed at each stage of this painstaking process.
